Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Registered Nurse to join our Anna, TX location. This position will be Monday - Friday and the hours are flexible (min 8 hours per day).

Pate is a premiere post-acute neuro-rehabilitation facility with three sites throughout the Dallas/Fort-Worth Metroplex. Pate has been in business for over 30 years, offering transdisciplinary neuro-rehabilitation. It was co-founded by a neuropsychologist, and the treatment model continues to be based on neuropsychological principles.

Primary Function: Assist patients as needed with direct care and medical management according to the Pate Medical Model, policies and procedures. Provide direction, guidance, and supervision to nursing department. Perform registered nurse delegation to unlicensed staff members following the rules of delegation per the Texas Nurse Practice Act and the Texas Administrative Code. Collaborate with leadership (e.g. program managers, administrative manager, case management supervisor) to ensure the nursing department is an integral part of the company.

Position Qualifications:

  • Must be currently licensed as an RN in the State of Texas
  • Minimum of 3 years of RN experience
  • This position will require you to take on-call on the weekends (which is on a rotation), *you will be compensated by 1 extra week of vacation for taking on-call*
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and to transfer adults
  • Must have verbal & writing skills required for effective interaction with healthcare professionals
  • Ability to interact effectively with patients and team members
  • Pass all pre-employment and employment verification's
  • Criminal History Check
  • Maintain current CPR and First Aid Training Certifications
  • Negative Drug Screen
  • Participate in crisis intervention training
